An initial consultation is more than just an opportunity for Threshold Design Group to discuss and describe how we work – it also allows you to ask questions!

A typical consultation will include:

• A walk-through of your home and spaces with discussion about needs, style preferences and a wish list

• High-level brainstorming of possible design solutions

• Discussions of potential specific projects, preliminary budgets, and expectations.
   

An in-home consultation is very beneficial for someone who is undecided about what they should do with their interior space and requires the assistance of an expert design consultant to develop a comprehensive plan for them.

After the design consultation, we will be equipped to put together a detailed proposal outlining the proposed scope of work and give you an estimate of the design fees.

In preparation for an initial consultation, it’s helpful to consider the following items:

• Start assessing and calculating your overall budget

• Determine and understand the function of your interior space

• Be clear about your objectives

• Get to know the likes and dislikes of your current interior space

• Prepare design questions for the consultation.
